2002 VW New Beetle GLS TDI, diesel-50 MPG, Leather interior, No reserve

This is an excellent car in nearly new condition.  This VW is being offered with No Reserve!!  Purchased from the Original Owners and used very little this past year.   

  The car looks like new inside and out and as such you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one. If you are thinking about a daily commuter or reliable and safe transportation for your college student this car is a contender.  The fuel mileage is astounding, while fun to drive even for the sake of driving there is an added pleasure in seeing just how far you can get out of a tank full.  My daughter consistently gets 46 to 50 mpg with her 03 Beetle which has 180,000 miles showing and still runs like new. 

The Turbo Diesel engines are little works of engineering art.  Sturdy, Robust and Reliable.  This car had a bra on it since new.  I removed it to see how it looked and it looks in extremely good shape, no rock chips and the VW emblem looks in showroom condition.   The windscreen has two rock strikes one very small and the other more noticeable. They have been stable but a new owner may decide for perfections sake to replace the glass.  The car has the typical crayola crayons smell in the interior. The interior is in "like new" condition, in excellent, clean condition.

All of the electronics in the car work perfectly, lights, blinkers, dash lights etc..everything on the car works like new. The car is a 5 speed manual transmission that is in excellent working condition.  It is located in Portland Oregon and has been a NW car since new.  Never been in an accident, the body is straight and in like new condition.  If you are local you may also come by and take a look at the car

  The car has an extensive service history since new.  Most of the records I have, but was told by the original owner whom I purchased the car from that the dealership showed all the scheduled service and had all the service history which they performed since new in their data base.  At 103,000 miles a new clutch with related components was installed.  New glow plugs and glow plug harness at the 112,000 and 113,000 miles respectively. Records show a new water pump at 58,000 miles and at the same time a new timing belt and tensioner.  Regular oil changes at scheduled intervals.
