I bought this Westy in Canada one year ago. It was an original Canadian import that meets all US DOT requirements. Speedo is MPH since that was the Canadian standard then.  I had no trouble importing it to the USA. It has a clear South Dakota title but is now garaged in Chicago.It was orinally purchased in Halifax NS where it stayed until I bought it. The previous owner and restorer showed proof the vehicle was stored since 1984. It is rust free and the year old paint is perfect. They only painted the outside and left the nearly mint interior unrestored as it did not need it. It does have evidence of use and is obviously a used but loved Bus. Original AM radio. Has original gas heater that I have never used, but was told a year ago it worked. It drives very nicely. Tight steering box, good shocks, first year for disc brakes, the transmission is the best Bus trans I have used. The mileage may be accurate, but there is no proof. I was told it has the original engine with recent head work. Last time I drove it we achieved 68 MPH which is factory top speed. It does take a while to warm up. It will stall in the city until a few miles are covered. Engine sounds very good with no bad noises. I spent the last 30 years of my life dyno testing engines and I know the sound of a solid engine. No heater boxes, J tubes instead. Comes with a spare front seat, clutch, carb and tune up parts.

I am selling as I now have severe gout and arthritis and cannot operate the clutch.

This Westy turns heads and amazes people with it's excellent condition.
