For all the Hippies and Flower Children out there, I am offering this very nice 1981 Volkswagen Bus. This van is a Westfalia Edition with enough amenities to let you camp out at the next Woodstock for as long as you want!

So I bet you want the story... and this is true... a nun drove this thing to West Virgina from Florida and traded it to one of my buddies for a car he was selling. I'm not makin this stuff up, how could ya? He has decided that it's just not him, go figure, maybe it's just what you need!!!

Mechanically this thing runs great, the engine and powertrain are in perfect working order. The engine compartment is very clean (see pictures) as is the whole van. Inside, the gas stove and sink assembly appear to have hardly been used, we didn't check any of this stuff out, thats up to you, but it is 100% intact. the interior is clean an free of any smells (like from leaks) other than that old Volkswagen smell, you know what I mean. The "Pop Top" is in perfect working order but the fabric has a hole in it up front, probably caused by the latch, and it has been patched on the passenger side. Hinges, latches and seams are very good. It has a great Blaupunkt sound system with Blaupunkt speakers and an amplifier, Sister Maria Joseph may have been jammin on the road trip from Florida!!!

It is missing two hubcaps and could really use a set of tires but I guarantee you it can be driven home by you no matter where you live. I pictured the only rust we could find on the front door steps. I'm sure it is caused by the rubber tread attached to it (I didn't remove the driver's tread but I'm sure it is as bad as the passengers). Other than that it is very solid, if there are any other strange spots that rust can form call me and I'll check it out.
