The vehicle is a collector's item. It is a head turner due to its uniqueness and its shape. It was the last Vanagon Multivan model ever built.

Condition:
The vehicle looks and is in great shape.
The vehicle was inspected and detailed this week and was found to be in near perfect shape.
There is no damage or imperfections to the vehicle, inside or outside.
The undercarriage had been coated by the manufacturer and coated again twice, most recently this week. The undercarriage was washed regularly and protected from winter conditions (salt) as it was driven rarely during the winter months. In the words of the inspector this week, "the vehicle's undercarriage is very clean and solid". Please take a look at all the pictures, including of the undercarriage.
 
Features:
The vehicle has: seven seats total, pop-up top, sun roof, it sleeps three individuals on top and three in the back, a sizable storage area with two compartments (one with three shelves and another smaller one) in rear/above engine, pop-out dining table, curtains, overhead luggage storage area above the front section.
The two rear-facing seats are removable for extra walking and hauling room. The three forward-facing rear seats slide down to form a bed for three.

History:

The vehicle was purchased on special order by the current owner. It was used in the first five years for family camping trips. Afterwards, it has been driven very little to the tune of about 5,000 miles per year. It has been regularly maintained.
It was never involved in an accident.
The engine was replaced with a rebuilt one at the 78,000 miles mark.
In addition, the owner is very careful and attentive with all the cars he has owned. As an example, he purchased a Mercedes Benz in 1979 and held it as his primary vehicle for 24 years.
