West Coast Classics are proud to present a very honest and virtually completely rust free example of this 1977 Volkswagen Pop-Top Camper Bus with only 85k original miles. The original owner sold the car to only the second owner last year and sold to the bus to us with a stated but undocumented original 85K miles and judging by the condition of the van, we believe him! The bus has obviously been garaged and has no history or evidence of any accidents and virtually no rust whatsoever apart from some very minor discoloring as is most typical for these vans, along one side of the bottom of the windshield, on the passenger side (see photos below). The van has it's original factory correct 'Sage Green' (Code L63H code) paint which was only ever used on campers! The van has a beautiful interior with a rear bench seat with a storage box underneath and that converts into a bed and with covers in the rear seat compartments. The van also has a pop-top with another bed area, a refrigerator, a stove and a sink and a picnic table for camping! Please note that there is a small crack on the windshield on the driver's side which does not affect the driver's vision and a small area on the passenger side sliding door that has been slightly dented (see photos below). The van drives great and has an automatic transmission which shifts smoothly through the gears, the van brakes great and the engine temperature always remains cool. This is one lovely driving and very nice original example ready to drive now of an all time classic and legendary VW camper van!
