YOU ARE LOOKING AT RARE 1976 VOLKSWAGON AUTOMATIC CAMPMOBILE. I BOUGHT THIS CAMPER A WHILE BACK WITH THE INTENTION OF RESTORING IT. THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A FRIEND OF MINE. HE TOOK ALL THAT FUEL INJECTION CRAP OFF AND REBUILT THE ENGINE ABOUT 15,000 MILES AGO. I DO HAVE SOME OF THE SERVICE RECORDS BUT NOT EVERYONE. HE PUT A CARBURATOR ON IT INSTEAD OF THE FUEL INJECTION. IT RUNS GOOD. IT HAS BEEN STORED IN MY BARN FOR THE LAST COUPLE YEARS . I DID GET IT OUT AND CLEAN IT UP AND GET IT RUNNING. WELL THE ALTERNATOR AND STARTER AND BATTERY WAS BAD SO I PUT ALL NEW PARTS ON IT AND IT CRANKED RIGHT UP. I DID DRIVE IT ABOUT 20 MILES AND PUT FRESH GAS IN IT BUT THATS ABOUT IT. IT DID RUN GOOD WITH NO SMOKE. THE INSIDE IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE BEDS HAVE NO STAINS , RIPS, OR TEARS. THE POP UP IS GOOD WITH NO TEARS. THE CURTAINS ARE NICE AND WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THE SINK WORKS AND THE COOLERS WORK WELL. THE CABLE TV AND ALL THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (OUTLETS). I DO HAVE THE SCREEN (NEW) THAT GOES WHERE THE BACK GATE OPENS. I ALSO HAVE THE CURTAINS THAT GO AROUND THE FRONT WINDOWS. THE PASSENGER FRONT SEAT DOES MOVE AROUND LIKE A CAPTAINS CHAIR. THE SEATS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. THE DASH IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS. ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD WITH NO CRACKS OR SCRATCHES. THE PAINT IS GOOD BUT IT DOES HAVE VERY LITTLE SURFACE RUST SEE PICS. THE FRONT PANEL WHERE THE SPARE TIRE IS HAS A DENT BUT NOT REALLY NOTICABLE I THINK YOU COULD POP IT OUT BUT I NEVER TRIED. THE ENGINE DOOR HAS A DENT WHERE MY FRIEND REAR ENDED ME AT A RED LIGHT. THIS IS NO BIG DEAL THIS WOULD PROBABLY POP OUT EASILY AS WELL. I NEVER MESSED WITH IT. THE TIRES ARE NEW INCLUDING THE SPARE. THE SPARE HAS NEVER BEEN USED. THE UNDERNEATH IS SOLID WITH NO RUST. SEE PICS. ALL THE LIGHTS WORK. THE BUMPERS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. LIKE I SAID THE CAMPER HAS BEEN PARKED FOR A COUPLE YEARS BUT I GOT IT OUT LAST WEEK AND THIS TROOPER IS GOING AGAIN. THE RECEIPTS THAT I HAVE TOTAL OVER $4000.00 JUST RECENTLY. IT WONT TAKE MUCH TO MAKE IT PERFECT ITS MAINLY COSMETIC. THIS IS A SOUTHERN BUS SO THAT ALONE SHOULD TELL YOU ABOUT THE LACK OF RUST. SHE IS READY TO HIT THE CAMPGROUNDS. I AM SELLING THIS AS A NO RESERVE AUCTION DUE TO IT MUST GO. I LOST MY JOB EARLIER THIS YEAR AND I NEED THE CASH. I HAVE TRIED TO DESCRIBE THIS TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE SO IF I MISSED SOMETHING PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO ASK. I RECEIVE EMAILS ON MY PHONE SO I SHOULD RESPOND BACK PRETTY QUICK. I FORGOT TO TELL EVERYONE, LAST WEEK I JUST SPENT $1243.00 TO TO PUT NEW GASKETS AND SEALS AND HAD THE VALVES REDONE ALONG WITH THE HEAD. THIS WAS THE ONLY THING NOT DONE WHEN THE ENGINE WAS REBUILT SO NOW THIS ENGINE IS BETTER THAN NEW. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW.
