1972 Volkswagen Bus Original Westfalia Pop Top Camper Van that has been off the road 25 years - since 1984 - I had a mechanic come with a battery and gas and he started the bus - he said that the engine sounded great - it ran very strong - he recommended that the fuel tank be cleaned and a new fuel pump be installed as well as checking the brakes and replacing any brake parts that may need replacing - it now has a new battery, new ignition switch, new fuel line from the tank to the dual carbs and will need a new fuel pump - it has been registered in California and has a current 2010 registration sticker - the bus will come with a clear California Title when received in the mail from the DMV - the body has never been cut or altered and is still wearing most of its original paint - it has the rear V-Bed and a spare tire which holds air - the floors appear to be in decent shape for the age but I would recommend patching or replacing the front floor edges as they are starting to show signs of cancer. The rear floors appear to be solid with only a small hole that somebody cut for a sink drain hose. This bus appears to have A/C air conditioning which isn't hooked up presently - This is a 37 year old vehicle so with that in mind this vehicle is not perfect but will give someone the perfect opportunity to re live the 1970s. The mileage isn't known except for the fact it wasn't driven for the past 25 years. The pop top works great however the canvas would need attention - see photos.

Non paying bidders will be reported to ebay and turned over to collections.

The buyer will be responsible for all transportation charges, taxes, and title fees (if applicable). The car must be picked up within 10 days after the auction ends or the buyer will incur storage fees at the rate of $20. per day starting on the 10th day. The vehicle will not be released until all storage fees and purchase price of the vehicle are paid in full. If buyer fails to pick up the car within 30 days, the car will be put up for sale again unless otherwise agreed to prior to the auctions end.
