1982 Diesel Westfalia with 83,541 original miles. It has a water-cooled engine and would be a great candidate for a BIODIESEL conversion. This is a California Westy with NO RUST and ORIGINAL PAINT. The body and interior are very clean. The previous owners purchased a VW crated factory re-manufactured engine which was installed, at about 80K (see photos). They mentioned that the original engine over-heated on a trip and the van was towed to a VW dealership where the re-manufactured engine was purchased and installed. It also has many new parts including... A Brand New 3 Vent Canvas and poptop seals from GO WESTY, new exhaust, new 8 ply tires, new brakes, new glow plugs, new Bosch Alternator, a new Interstate battery, new in tank water/sink pump from GO WESTY, new outlet covers, new bumper end caps, and new Blaupunkt CD player with IPOD/MP3 connection and remote. Everything works including the clock! It also has two new retractable cup holders. This Westy has all the curtains including the privacy curtain and the rear bug screen. It also has both tables and comes with a very cool retractable awning (see photo) that is mounted on the gutter rail over the slider door. This unit is removable. This Westy is in GREAT SHAPE and ready to drive anywhere! By The Way: The AutoCheck report is inaccurate.
