Hi folks,

Up for sale is gorgeous 2003 Jetta GLS TDi wagon - the holy grail - with a 5 spd transmission. It has been diligently maintained by myself, a physician, and by its previous owner. I have all service records dating to its inception. This car was exclusively highway driven, with over 95% of the miles a result of highway commute. Still gets upto 50 MPG on the highway. I average about 45 MPG per fill-up with a little city driving mixed in. With gas prices on the rise, this car is perfect blend of passenger hauling and economy.

MECHANICAL: The 1.9 L ALH TDi is the coveted diesel motor, with a mechanical injection pump and no cam issues of the newer PD engines. 2003 was the culmination of this engine, and the wagon version makes it the most sought after model. The engine purrs quietly and has only been treated to synthetic oil. The transmision shifts smoothly through all the gears.

Dealer serviced with ALL service records since birth. NO CHECK ENGINE Lights.

- The timing belt/tensioner and water pump was replaced at ~75k miles and is good for 175k mi.

- The front rotors/pads replaced at 90k and the rears at 99k.

- Front end suspension parts including struts replaced in the past 20k miles, so no squeaks/rattles.

- Glow plugs and harness recently replaced.

- AC blows ice cold.

EXTERIOR: The Silver paint is in great shape and could easily pass for a 2 year old car. Minimal scratches on the bumpers. The trunk skin was replaced from a fender bender in 2004. There is a faulty sensor from the trunk that triggers a light on the dash, but it opens and shuts as it should. No rust or flood issues.

- Factory roof racks.

- Windshield in great shape.

- Alloys in good shape with MICHELIN tires with approx 50% tread left

- Factory splash guards.

INTERIOR: The light grey premium cloth interior is in great shape. NO STAINS, RIPS or signs of wear. The back seat has barely been used. The arm rest and the glove box, which are usually broken, are perfect. The shift boot shows a little wear.

- The driver's seat is still firm and has great lateral support.

- Headliner is in great shape.

- Has the dog guard/ trunk cover as shown in the pics.

- Has moonroof and all power features.

In summary, you are getting a rare well cared for car that is truly a workhorse delivering over 600 miles per fill-up and 50MPG on the highway. It was truly a pleasure to own. Call with me any questions/concerns. 504-957-9636.
