Bob and Barbara Tomes began selling Ford vehicles in McKinney on January 17, 1983. Their doors opened on a 3.8 acre lot with only 16 employees and about two dozen vehicles. As McKinney grew, so did the demand for Ford cars and trucks. In 1988 Bob and Barbara moved their dealership to the 6 acre site where it currently resides.
