You are viewing a 1983 VW Rabbit GTI with a Calloway Turbo kit and Calloway body kit.  Car is super fast, puts out 225hp to the crank.  The body is in excellent shape paint really shines, just a smidget of rust on the rear hatch just under weather stripping, can hardly be seen. Has some rock chips on front and rear fenders as well as hood and front bumper.  Interior is excellent as well except for head liner, doesnt need one but could use one to be perfect.

Now the fun part: This GTI has the Calloway package including Turbo, microfueler, 140mph speedo, and headlights. This GTI is highly highly modded.  This engine was built at 89k miles with a scriocco 16v engine block, JE pistons balanced .40 over, ported and polished stock 8v hydraulic head with short valve guides, 260 degree neuspeed cam for a sc corrado, volvo 240T fuel injection fuel rail(for maximum fuel delivery) Calloway turboed and intercooled, HKS electronic injector controller, neuspeed throttle body, greddy turboo blow off, MSD ignition system, electric fuel pump, electric fan, battery relocated to trunk, a/c system disabled.  Inside car are all kinds of controllers including Halmeter AF30 Air-fuel ratio meter, HKS injector controller, Blitz turbo boost controller, boost retard, exhaust temp meter, lbs/sp inch meter and fuel pump and electric fan switches.

Transmission includes a 16v Scrirrco transmission, 100mm cv joints, center force power clutch, lightweight motorsport flywheel, 3:67 gears, quaffe diff, and missing linkz shoort throw shifter. Also throwing an extra clutch with the car.

Brakes are 10" scriocco front rotors rears are 8" with HKS ceramic brake pads, and steel braided brake lines.

Chassis has reinforced strut towers, full roll cage, eurosport front strut bar, nuespeed rear full strut bar, front and rear neuspeed sway bars, and bilstein fully adjustable coil over shocks.  The GTI also has a stainless steel Tectronic tuning exhaust(no cat no muffler)with a wing nut exhaust dump.

Car comes with 2 sets of bbs wheels, the ones in pictures and second set(basket weaves) Comes with original back seat in excellent condition, Kirkey aluminum race seat 4pt race harness. All original manuals are included as well as a spare transmission!!  And extra set of brakepads.

Sunroof gears are stripped but I have parts to repair it.

Car does not have a radio.

Wipers do not work unless you plug fuse in, and can only shut them off when you take it out.

This car is extremely fast and handles like its on rails, great for autox, roadracing or just pure street enjoyment.  Feel free to drive this car anywhere its a lot of fun, gets attention all the time.
