              I am selling a Very Nice solid VW Dune Buggy Roadster.It is the popular Manx style buggy.This unit started out (and clear titled 1963 roadster) a 1963 beetle and in 1970-1971 was transformed into the beauty it is today.This is a 2 owner buggy and spent most of it's life in Arizona.It was moved (when the owner got a work transfer) to Mi ,and spent most of the next 7 years in a heated garage when not being driven around the yard.This last winter I put it thru my shop (I have been blessed to operate a repair facility for 30 years) and had my techs make sure it would be safe and reliable.We replaced ALL we found it needed and some as a precaution it did not need.It has a completely rebuilt carburator,new inner and outer tie-rods and adjustments sleeves,brakes,wheel cylinders,valve cover gaskets (and of course valve adjustment),generator belt,battery,oil change (mobil 1) ect.I also added new American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and tires.This vintage buggy still bears the original Gold metal flake gel coat.NOT a repaint.Let me explain that I would bet that atleast 90% of these rare vintage buggies have had to be painted over the original gel coat due to age,faded,damaged fiberglass and or gel coat.This unit is VERY solid with original floor pans ect. as well.AND they are NOT rusted.What am I saying..??.. I am saying this is unrestored/unmolested original manx/meyers style buggy.It is not new/mint however it is WAY above average.It has been allot fun this past summer for me to take my grandchildren for rides.It runs and drives good,and needs very little to be a show quality winner.There are a few things we did not do that someone else may find he/she opts to do.The turn signals don't work,the aftermarket gauges work but the plastic lense is missing on 1 or more of them.Minor issues but I want you to know exactly what your buying,and give you No reason to question my Integrity.This has what I beleive is the original thirteen hundred four cylinder vw engine and four speed manual trans.The buggy is sold as-is w/ no warranty.Must be paid for with-in 3 days of auction end and I accept paypal or us certified cashiers check,cash,bank transfer.Buyer pays for shipping if he/she opts not to pick it up at my place (repair facility/dealership).Some states are required to pay sales tax in Mi(don't worry you will not have to pay sales tax twice).If you have any questions or want to check out the buggy do so a day or so before the auction ends so I have time to accomodate you.Thank you and God Bless,Tom
