Clean CarFax and no rust! This is a 1993 Volvo 240 Classic. This is a Limited Edition #904 out of only 1,600 produced. It's eligible for the CarFax guarantee! The vehicle runs smoothly and quietly. I have had it serviced and thoroughly sorted by both a Volvo dealership and a European car specialist over the last year. Recent repairs and improvements include:
All in, these repairs cost about $2,500 and I have receipts. The AC and heat work well. The interior looks original and has no rips or tears. The radio antenna does not go up or down; all the electric windows work properly. The car was repainted in the original color before I bought it; it has a few scratches and dings, but all of the trim is present (I removed the trim piece on the right side in the rear - it was loose and I didn't want to lose it). Minor crack in the dash in the usual place, but not that bad. This is a 15 year old car and it's being sold as-is, where-is. If you love 240's, you should consider this one. Buyer responsible for shipping. Seller reserves the right to cancel bids and end the auction at any time for any reason. I reserve the right to keep your deposit if you win the auction and then don't follow through with the purchase. I have had more than one person buy the car and then never close the deal (without even coming to see it) so I can't have anyone else waste my time. If you buy the car, come see it, and decide it is not as represented, I will likely refund your deposit - I just don't want to waste another auction on someone not showing up! I hope you can understand that... Note regarding the mileage: the odometer reads less than 29,000 miles. I have owned the car for the last year, and the odometer has worked since I've owned it. I do not know for sure whether the mileage is correct, but the condition of the car supports it - especially the condition of the interior. It is clearly original and lightly used. It is eligible for the Carfax guarantee based on its history. Remember, folks, this is a 15 year old car. I've run it through my mechanics (Volvo dealer and a specialist) to make sure it's in safe and reliable mechanical working order.
