THIS IS A 12 VOLT STAINLESS STEEL / NIC WIRE INJECTOR LINE HEATER THAT DRAWS ABOUT 15-16 AMPS AND PUTS OUT ABOUT 200 WATTS OF HEAT. THE HEATER IS INSTALLED ON A SECTION OF 5/16 or 3/8 SOFT ALUMINUM TUBING AND CAN BE INSTALLED ANYWHERE ON THE FUEL SYSTEM TO HEAT YOUR VEG OR KEEP YOUR BIODIESEL FROM GELLING.  YOU SHOULD HAVE A FILTER INSTALLED AFTER THIS HEATER, BUT THEY DON'T CREATE DEBRIS LIKE A GLOW PLUG HEATER. YOU CAN USE THIS UNIVERSAL STYLE HEATER AT THE TANK TO HELP WARM THE GREASE OR BIO DIESEL ON VEHICLES THAT DO NOT HAVE A HOSE ON HOSE HOH OR HOSE IN HOSE HIH HEATED FUEL LINE . ALSO HAVE INJECTOR LINE HEATERS FOR 4 CYL 5CYL MB 6 CYL AND V8 ENGINES, WASTE OIL PUMP, AND HEAT EXCHANGER. A: If you need to gain about 50 degrees than you should look into a small flat plate heat exchanger or maybe just a coolant heated filter. The filter is the choking point in the fuel system.
