Good condition Works Performance shock removed from my K75C prior to sale. All moving parts are in perfect order and all parts needed for installation are included. Works has an excellent reputation and makes first-rate shocks: the difference between this shock and the original K75/K100 shock is just staggering. The Works shock is beautifully damped and not at all harsh but completely gets rid of the stocker's fluffy feel. The difference in control is really pretty astonishing. This particular model has WP's unique two-spring design, which lets you change the spring rate when adding a passenger. This is in contrast to ordinary "preload" adjustments, which only move the spring into a different part of its travel and don't have any effect on the spring rate. For people who ride two-up, the dual-rate feature, which Works calls ARS, is almost indispensable once you've tried it. This shock has around 20k miles of use on it. It should be good for well over 100k miles between rebuilds. It has normal weathering from use as can be seen in the photos but has in no way been subject to abuse. This shock will fit any K75 and any K100 except paralever models. The eyelet-to-eyelet distance is 13.75", which is standard for these bikes. The current new price of this shock is $509.
