The RT-138F Transceiver utilizes a digital frequency synthesizer to provide FM communications on any authorized channel currently available in high band VHF from 138 MHz to 174 MHz. Using the C-1000 or C-5000 control unit, this Transceiver can be operated push-to-talk duplex with a transmit frequency at one end of the band and the receiver at the other. Changing channels is easy – up to 350 preset channels can be programmed to your assigned frequencies, or complete frequency agility is available in the control units. The Transceiver’s small size and light weight is ideally suited to small or large fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Every production unit is tested to assure that the severe operational requirements of rotary and fixed wing aircraft are met, including extreme high and low temperature and vibration testing.

Wulfsberg Electronics RT-30, RT-138F, and RT-406F Flexcomm™ I transceivers are 10 Watt FM synthesized single band radios.  Each radio contains a frequency synthesized Main receiver and transmitter capable of operating over the entire frequency band.  In addition to the Main receiver, a second receiver (called a Guard receiver) can be specified. This receiver can operate on one crystal controlled frequency.  The purpose of the Guard is to give the operator a channel that will always be monitored without using another complete radio or pseudo-scanning process. In addition, an optional Guard receiver with the CTCSS receive tone function is available. For special applications, the RT-138F and RT-406F models can be modified for additional receiver sensitivity. This option precludes the use of a Guard receiver and is not recommended for normal aircraft applications.

This system is in excellent condition, tagged AR, and carries our 30 day guarantee to pass your bench test as SV.  If you wish we can have the unit tagged SV or OH for an additional fee.  We can also upgrade these units to be compatable with the digital series of RTs produced by Wulfsberg.
