BLOW OUT SALE ON OUR SWINGARMS FOR 2009.  GLOSS BLACK UNIT WITH BRONZE BUSHINGS.

 

1973 - 1984 YAMAHA XS650 Stock length, Under Braced Swing Arm for Drum Brake Application with bronze bushings installed, and powdercoated GLOSS BLACK.  This is the same swing arm we built for our pro-street looking shop bike without the stretch.

About this auction:

This series of auctions is for our finished Swing Arms from the Yamaha XS650 models.   

  

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

 

Yamaha XS650 Stock length, Braced Swing Arm for Drum Brake applications:  Up for sale is the Swing arm shown in this auction.  This is a stock length unit.  This unit has been underbraced, powdercoated GLOSS BLACK, and bronze bushings installed. This unit is ready for installation.  We recommend the buyer install stock length 12-1/2 inch shocks with this swingarm.  We also recommend a new pivot bolt with nut and locking tab, and inner sleeve be installed with this unit at time of installation.

 

CONSTRUCTION OF THIS UNIT.

  This swingarm is installed in our jig, and the underbrace is installed.  The under brace tubing is DOM mild steel with a wall thickness of .090.  The unit is then cleaned up, bead blasted, and powdercoated prior to bronze bushing application.  This model is for a drum rear brake application.  Please see our other auctions for disc brake models. 

 

MODIFICATIONS BY OTHERS:

The buyer will have to modifiy the xs650 frame by removing the rear foot peg mounts on the frame.  Other mods may be necessary depending on length of rear shocks used with this swing arm.  We recommend the stock length 12-1/2 inch or longer rear shock installation.  Our finished product is a Very clean looking and functional swing arm.  Ready for install.  These parts will make good  performance replacements for your bike or project.  Please see the attached pictures for related parts to this auction.  I have also included a picture of one our bikes with this under braced swing arm installed for you to view.  Bike is being sold in separate auction thanks.

SHIPPING Domestic: 

Insured Shipping, and Packaging will be a flat fee of US $28.00 to the lower 48 States, all others please contact me before bidding. (international bidders can figure @ 19 lbs shipping weight.)  Local pickup is always welcome..

 

SHIPPING Internationally:

 

We will ship internationally but overseas buyer is responsible for all additional insurance, shipping, handling, and crating fees.  International shipping will only be done by airmail parcel.  We will not ship economy ground as it takes too long and is a hassle for the seller and buyer.  International bidders/buyers are responsible for contacting us for a shipping quote prior to sale end.

A: i make new pipes but we have them ceramic chromed. chroming in seattle is pretty cost prohibitive.
