Yamaha Rhino R1 Bike Engine (project) - Buggy UTV RAIL
Vehicle Description
2003/2004 R1 Rhino project
*Please note that I took the pics as I built the rhino, not all the pics are up to date*
Selling as is:
Reason for selling:I am building a house and have very little time to work on it. I also
need to build a shop and until then have to haul it to a friends shop to work
on it.If it does not sell I will
continue to work on it slowly, but I would rather not due to space and time.
Will consider trades:NO ATVS OR DIRT BIKES.I will
consider trades for something that needs little to no work.Preferably a side x side of some kind.Trucks, Jeeps, Samurais, Rhinos, RZRs
ect.I love working on the R1 rhino but
time/space/money is not allowing me to work on it as much.I also have a 03 KFX400 and a 2006 King Quad
I could throw in as a trade if your machine is worth more.
Chassis – 2004 Yamaha Rhino (WITH TITLE)
I bought the rhino with a bad engine with the idea of
installing a R1 Street Bike engine. My first intentions where to make it a
sleeper and keep the machine stock as possible looks wise. After some searching and testing I decide to
build it more as a mini buggy.I wanted
to be comfortable, safe, and have as much travel as possible. The stock cage,
and suspension set up I think would not allow this.I am hoping for 20 inches all around at least.
I started this build last winter with the intentions of having
it done this summer, but I was not expecting to do this much fab work. Everything that is on my list you are getting. If the unit does not sell I may part it out...so if you want dibs on something email me.
FYI so there is no surprise, there is not much left of the
rhino frame, but it is still titled and considered a rhino.A lot of the frame is welded fully where I
am confident I do not need to move tube. Other stuff is tacked or has not been
tested yet.So modification and bugs
will need worked out..
