Vehicle Description

This is a 1981 Yamaha XS650 Speical with only 8,819 miles!! The bike has been kept inside and unridden for years by the previous owner. I just had the carbs rebuilt and the bike starts and runs good. I rode it around the block a few times. There is no smoke and no leaks. The front brake does not work, I think there is something stuck in the line as it is not getting fluid to the caliper. I gave the battery a quick charge, I am not sure if it will hold so it will probably need a new battery,

The body is in good shape with some scratches and chips on the tank. There is a very small ding on the tank that is hard to see. The seat has no rips. There is some corrosion on the engine and grab bar, it may buff out? The tire look to be good. All the lights and horn work.

This is a great classic bike and looks great for the year. I would reccomend that the buyer changes the oil and fluids as I did not, The only real issue I noticed with the bike is the front brake and I think that is just the line.. and possibly a battery.

I will not ship this bike. The buyer is responsible for having it picked up at my location within 7 days of auctions end.

I require a $100 non refundable deposit within 24 hrs of auctions end through paypal. Balance and pick up to be done within 7 days. I accept cash only!!!
