Here is a fantastic vintage Moto-X bike I recently found in storage. I am not a professional in any aspect, but here is what I know. This bike is straight and well maintained. The rims are true, the frame is scuffed but not heavy. The bars are straight. The compression is extremely high ( takes a swift tough kick). The transmission is solid and shifts smooth. The levers are tweeked a bit, still OK. The tires are used but meaty, no signs of excessive age. The bike came with a desert tank which I replaced with an OEM original. I cleaned the dust off, cleaned the carb and filter ( after-market air filter a bit old). The bike popped first kick and started up after a few more. I rode it up and down the street once. It idles and has a slight pop after acceleration ( jetting? slight air leak?)  The brakes work fine ( did not check pad life). The bike has a DG Pipe with no dents and an FMF silencer. I put an after-market sticker kit on it and found that the side panels, fenders and number plate may not be original and have been painted sort-of well. I THINK THE BIKE NEEDS:  New air filter, Jetting for your altitude, new grips, maybe levers. I would take a close look at the Carb manifold inlet to the head ( it seems a bit checked). A GOOD GOING OVER TIGHNTNING ETC.  The bike has been registerd in California with a Green sticker and has clear title. It comes with the desert tank and older style bike stand. The buyer can pick it up. ( I'm in the west San Fernando Valley, California)  I cannot be responsible for shipping the bike THE BUYER IS RESPONIBLE FOR PAYMENT IN FULL IN ONE WEEK AND ANY SHIPPING ARRAINGEMENTS!  THIS BIKE IS SOLD AS-IS, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS, PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY!
