2002 GEM Electric Car

E-4 Four Seat Model

This is a clean low mileage NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) This is street legal in all 50 States, currently registered in Arizona, This has new Tires and Aluminum Wheels. The Carrier box is great for Shopping and Light transport, rated up to 100 lbs.  But with a key and a quick turn of a Tee Handle, dismounts and other Accessories mount, Like a Golf Bag Rack.

Speed is regulated to maximum 25 mph, range varies with Driving Style, terrain, and battery charge. Easily get 25-30 miles range on the Street. Can be recharged anywhere a standard 3 prong 110 volt plug is!

This also works great on the golf course, Turf Rated, and with a dash mounted switch goes to turf mode, and this reduces speed to maximum 15 mph. and Adjusts Torque so no wheel spin on the grass.

Only minimum scuffs and wear, shows very well and runs great!

NEW Batteries will be included in the BUY IT NOW price, complete with Free 12 Month Replacement Warranty with Walmart Nationwide.

Please note we will NOT install New Batteries unless you pay the cost,  you take the vehicle with the Fair existing batteries. They are near the end of thier life but work!  Replacement costs for batteries is $425.00 to $500.00 depending on your location and choice of battery.

Current mileage at Ad placement is 3,850 miles.

Very low cost insurance and 50-75 cents a night to charge!

This is our Owners Toy, he drives it daily to the Store, Bank, and between our office and Warehouse, fun to Drive and even Cool.

11/27/2011  many ask for details about speed and range. The GEM is an N.E.V. and regulated to 25 mph. Many GEM owners upgrade to get more Range and Reliability. We Recomend Ride-4-Fun packages ! A 7.5 hp motor upgrade costs just $944.00  and this GEM has 14" Performance Tires and Wheels installed.

 See chart below for what can be obtained for top speed with a motor upgrade. Note 35mph with no range loss!

20% range loss with controller reprogramming ( included in the motor kit.) for top speeds of 40 mph!
