A: no sorry it is not a kingpin it is a spring lock ranger style

A: yes it is the ranger style that ranger has used in all of there boats for years

 Q: Hi...Is this a new pedestal?????where is the handle, to make it go up and down...or is it a stationary one, that does not move?????thxs for your time......
A: IT was pulled off of a new boat that had been siting on a show room floor it is a manual post and it is a total of 17" long

A: it is 17" long so it would be about 15" long from the deck of the boat to where the seat would bolt to it when it is mounted in the base
