1971 Triumph TR-6

1971 Triumph Tr6 professionally restored

I will describe this wonderful triumph in sections

about how and what was restored on this vehicle.

Engine : rebuilt with mild performance cam, sounds sweet

Block was boiled, new pistons, bearings, rings, head was done with     

new valve seats springs installed etc.

Many new engine parts. Electronic ignition, rebuilt carbs with restored linkage, looks killer. Wires , coil, relays, etc. Engine compartment is stunning and meticulously detailed

Transmission: rebuilt with new syncros and seals

Rear end: rebuilt new gears installed and seals.

U joints replaced new boots too.

Exhaust: New stainless exhaust complete header back.

New Beautiful header sounds great especially with cam

Body : New Ppg primer sealer and topcoat

paint is very nice and shines very well.

Body is in excellent shape and very straight. No waves or creases down the side of the vehicle. Doors, trunk, and hood lines are very nice.

Original rust free body, floors, rockers, etc. excellent shape.

Exterior: New badges and emblems installed. New light lenses too

rear chrome light bezels are excellent

New convertible top installed cleaned and repainted frame with new straps

and snaps.

Bumpers are New front and rear including license light assembly chrome and seal

New Goodyear Integrity Tires. These tires really make this car a pleasure to drive and they look fantastic too.

New windshield, including seal and insert

Interior: New carpet kit, New Tr6 mats not shown in pic but will come with this Tr6, New crash pads, new dash installed. All gauges were cleaned and checked for proper function.

New visors , door seals

Newly upholstered seats and panel kit too.

New door glass, felt channels and handles

All cables for choke, fan etc were replaced new knobs too

Undercarriage & suspension : New rear lever shocks, new brake drums and hardware kit.  New front springs, shocks, completely rebuilt front end.

New slave and master cylinder

All new bushings and seals installed with new hardware too.

Frame was removed from body, treated, painted and reinstalled.

All brake and fuel lines replaced or restored.

Looks very nice underneath as a restored vehicle should.

This Triumph is really fun to drive.  The rebuilt engine has excellent oil pressure and compression. The suspension allows this car to handle so well. It really has a fantastic look to it overall.

There will be a reserve on this vehicle. However I feel it is low in comparison to the time, money, and sweat that goes into a restoration like this.
