We acquired this car from dear friends in our church when their mom could no longer drive. It really was grandma's car. We have maintained it for the relatively short time we've had it with great care. Unfortunately, we are a family of 4 with the shortest person in our family being 5' 9" ... and we need a car that can transport the whole family. The back seat head room in a Beetle isn't great if you are a very tall person, so we are selling the car. The car is incredibly fun to drive. The acceleration is amazing! The car is nearly perfect. We put new tires on it when we got it. We have maintenance records from the original owner. In terms of imperfections: We removed the visor above the driver side's door when a small spring came off and it dropped down. (No car we've ever owned had a visor there anyway.) We have the visor, but chose not to rehang/ repair it. (You can see it in the pictures.) There are some dings along the bottom edge trim strip where a running board would be on the passenger side. We have set the reserve price at $6,500 because we have been offered that amount by local car dealers who buy and re-sell cars. Whoever buys the car can get a great value on a very nice, reliable car. We have been Ebay buyers and sellers for a long time. This is the third car we've ever sold on Ebay and have always had a great experience. Please read our feedback and bid with confidence.
