Up for sale today is a 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

VERY RARE......RAIN GREEN EXTERIOR.

This Ghia is one of the straightest most rot free that you will find.

Conveniently found in New England.

The Ghia was running, but currently it  doesn't run thought to be a spark/carb issue.

When I got the car it was not running. I drained the gas and found rust in the tank. After cleaning and coating the inside of the tank with Caswell two part epoxy gas tank sealer, I painted the outside and reinstalled with new fuel filter, nipple and hose.

Next was the carb which got removed and disassembled to find it loaded with rust. My father haqppened to have a fresh rebuilt Solex 34 pict-3 waiting for me. (Thanks Pops!). So that got installed.

After that it was fresh plugs and wires,oil change, valve lash adjustment, timing, final tuning of the carb.

I had the car running and driving when I put it away for the winter last year.

This past summer  it was running but now it isn't.
