Ballasts: Included is a pair of premium slim digital ballast or the control box for you HID bulbs. The slim ballast is about 3" x 4" and 3/4" tall. This ballast carrys a 7 - 20v range, not found in many kits. It is mounted with either the 3M double sided tape included or 4 small screws to a safe spot in your engine bay. Since the ballast is slim it is easier to mount, the digital nature of this ballast extends the lifespan of your HID kit. Everything You Need to Know About HID Kits..

HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. It refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. One great advantage of HID lighting is that it doesn't have a filament but instead creates light by igniting an arc between two electrodes. HID lights get their name from the intense white light produced by the electrical discharge. Halogen bulb which has filament has a lifespan of about 250 hours (2 years), HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a life of 2500-3000 hours (3 to 5 years). Another fact is that they use only 35 watts of electricity, while your stock Halogen bulbs requires 55 watts.

If you purchase a kit with a separate igniter box, it does not have the strength or durability of our ballast. HID Bulbs

HID lights get their name from the intense white light produced by electrical discharge. HID lamps are also called xenon lamps referring to a gas inside the lamps. HID Lights are currently used in most sports arenas, stadiums and trains around the world. Don't be fooled by the Xenon Bulbs that sell for $20 at any retail shop. They produce a very scattered and artificial light that are less bright than normal halogens. They are no match for the intensity, purity, and efficiency of High Intensity Discharge Headlights.

If you order a kit and choose the incorrect bulb size for your vehicle; send only the bulbs back for exchange. Please contact us for instructions. No exceptions. In most cases are kits are plug and play. In some rare cases you may need to perform simple modifications.We are available by phone and email for customer service and will help as much as we can, however we are not a installation hotline.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your HID kit for any reason, simply contact us at hidcountry@gmail.com with your eBay ID, Item Number, and Reason and we will arrange the return/exchange/refund for you. Returns will be accepted for 30 days of receiving your order Buyer is responsible for all return shipping cost. Shipping and handling will not be refunded in any case.
