| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Google it! This is the BEST DEAL on a 38J ANYWHERE! Carefully maintained by an experienced RVer, this Winnie has it all - and it all works! Let's start with a walkaround from the exterior. The first thing you will notice is that this unit really SHINES! That's due to the $700+ professional wash and wax done a few months ago. The front bumper has been touched up to hide any rock chips. Plenty of tread on the tires. Upgraded exhaust and exhaust tips for a great sound and added HP. The Vortec V8 has a new serpentine belt and runs absolutely perfectly. The Allison transmission works perfectly as well. The dash A/C was recently serviced and works as it should (for whatever reason, the dash A/C in RVs often doesn't work...mine does!). Electric awning has a brand new wind sensor and includes a remote control! All of the slide awnings were recently replaced and should last for many, many, many years as they are higher quality than the factory material. There's an external speaker system with a brand new CD/MP3 player, too. Plenty of storage space that comes OUT with the slides...no more crawling under the slide to get to your stuff! There's heated power mirrors for control while you drive. The 5500 watt generator works great! In fact, it's AUTOMATIC meaning it'll start (if you want) when the A/C needs to come on or when the batteries get low. It will also respect quiet hours. The water bay includes a tilting sewer connection, outdoor shower, and a black water rinse system. Your fresh water tank is filled with a simple flip of a switch - no spout to have to fill. I've also placed a plug for a macerator pump if you wish. The power bay includes your 50A cord and an automatic switch that controls shore power vs generator power. You'll also find the upgraded sine wave inverter, a central vac, awning controls, and your switches and hose for easy winterization. Also, the large water heater is electric, gas, and also heated from the engine when running. You can run electric and gas together to get hot water fast. Stepping into the coach through the automatic steps, you'll walk by the central vac connection that lets you use the hose from nose to tail and you'll step into the kitchen. The countertops are Corean-like, although a different brand. The gas oven is like new, and the microwave doubles as an electric convection oven. Plenty of counter space, plus the spinning cabinet in the corner. Your fridge is on the wall with matching wood panels and you also have your pantry - a wire rack shelf on sliders to make it extra-easy. Step into the den and you'll see the leather couch that is electric and converts to a bed for two. It has a pull out section underneath that extends its length for sleeping or just lounging. Next to it is the recliner, both facing the entertainment center. Inside the entertainment center you can plug in your satellite box if you wish where the automatic satellite will find it's position automatically. There's surround sound in the coach, too, with two speakers above the windshield, two in the kitchen, and the center above the TV. Also, the satellite and DVD can be sent to the bedroom TV...and a special device allows your remote controls to work from the bedroom back to the entertainment center. The three tall windows are right behind the kitchen table for a beautiful view. There are two extra fold-up chairs that match and are stored under the bed. Up in the 'cockpit' the driver has access to power sun shades, defrost fans, satellite radio, brand new rear camera with audio, coach heat (from the engine), radio and 6 CD changer (above in a cabinet), engine brake (well, as good as can be with a gas engine), mirror controls, compass, and controls for surround sound (surround can come from the radio OR the TV). The driver's seat is power along with a tilting wheel for comfort. There's also a driver's door for easy in/out. At the control center you'll find your generator controls, switches for hot water, water levels, battery levels, water pump, etc. There's 4 build in family radios and the alarm system, too, which has various sensors, outdoor siren, and connects to cell towers so you get alerted on your cell phone. You can also arm/disarm the RV from your cell phone or the key fob. Finally, the basement A/C is controlled here too by a single thermostat. The one thermostat controls the dual compressors in the A/C for air or heat, plus the gas heat. When on heat, it will try to use the heat pump first, and when it get too cold outside it will automatically switch to gas. Lastly, there's the power management system. When connected to less than 50a (say, 30 or 20), the power management system will turn things off to keep you within your amperage limits...for example, it may shut off the hot water heater when you the A/C kicks on. The bathroom is very nice with a solid porcelain toilet in it's own room (sounds weird, but it's nice, not cheap like most), vanity, and good sized shower with a seat. A sliding door separates the kitchen from the bathroom, a separate swinging door hides the toilet, and a third door with windows and a shade keep the bedroom private. In the bedroom, there's plenty of counter space with warm lighting, a TV in the corner connected to all the equipment in the entertainment center, a three-door mirrored closet with lights, and several drawers. There's also a dirty clothes hamper and a Splendide washer/dryer combo that works great! The bed itself is comfy - because it's Sleep Number! No leaks or problems. The bid lifts for storage underneath. There's also a radio with speakers above the bed. With three slides and about 39 feet, this RV is beautiful and ENORMOUS for the price! We searched forever to find the perfect layout for us, and we found it! Now, as our lifestyle changes, this is your chance to own a beautiful RV at a great price. Key features: 3 slides with new slide awnings (those cheap factory awnings WILL deteriorate! I replaced them!) Electric Main awning with a wind sensor and remote control Alarm system with cellular connectivity - get alerted via your phone AND arm/disarm remotely with an app! Safe included as well, bolted to the floor in one of the bays. Basement A/C and heat pump - efficient and quiet! duct work recently repaired & given additional insulation (watch out for failing ducts! a common problem that was FIXED on my coach!) Upgraded exhaust & exhaust tips - sounds great, adds HP! Exterior stereo system w/new CD/MP3 player 5500 watt generator w/auto start (turns on automatically when needed by the A/C or low batteries) Upgraded inverter (pure sine wave) and converter (computer controlled!) DEFOGGED dual-pane windows!! Watch out for those foggy windows!! Dual Pane to eliminate condensation in the Winter and for better insulation! Two ovens - main gas oven and convection microwave oven (we hardly ever used the gas oven because of that great convection oven!) NEW Backup Camera w/audio Satellite system on the roof with automatic satellite finder mechanism Solar panel Heated water bays - We've stayed in this in the teens & twenties with no freeze ups! Hydraulic Leveling Jacks ARE included (not sure why listed said they weren't at one point) Sleep Number Bed with dual controls Washer/dryer - Splendide - works great and vents outside!! Electric couch turns to a bed UPGRADED & BRAND NEW A/C control board - the 'weakest link' in all A/C systems! Might sound weird, but a nice REAL porcelain toilet! Amazing condition - amazing amenities for the price - ready to be YOUR home away from home! Come see it today! 20k miles Less than 200hrs on generator ALL maintenance records - ALL books - ALL service receipts. You will know EVERYTHING about this coach! Price: NADA low retail is around 70k. But, low retail is described as a unit with significant wear and tear, dents, scratches, and generally not well maintained. This is NOT this unit!! This would be considered a HIGH retail unit. NADA average retail is over 80k. There's little other evidence of true RV selling prices. Google this model and you'll see that this is the CHEAPEST (and most realistic) price for this unit. Finally, there is one consignment shop that lists historical sales (http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/sold/class-a-motor-homes.htm) On there, you will find a 38' 3 slide 2006 Winnebago went for $74,995. I suspect it was a 38J but we can't be sure. No gimmicks - just ready to be sold FAST!! Take this to FLORIDA!!
