Vehicle Description

I am selling a waiting list spot for a ICON A5 Aircraft. This is a truly revolutionary airplane which brings the most advanced technology in the industry to a plane which is extraordinarily practical and fun to use. ICON is much better at describing the aircraft than I am so please refer to their website: www.iconaircraft.com

The ICON A5 has been tremendously popular and successful. Having a premier spot on the waiting list and being able to secure one of these planes quickly is very attractive.

ICON is expecting to deliver their first plane in the end of 2010/beginning of 2011. I am selling spot number 181, which is expected to be delivered a little more than a year after that. This will likely get even better with time as people cancel their reservations and drop out. An order today with ICON would get delivery of the plane in 2014-2015, I am selling the opportunity to get it years earlier than that.

ICON has a deposit system where you place a $5,000 deposit on the plane, and then pay the remainder around when you take delivery. ICON is currently advertising a price of $139,000. I am selling my reservation that I placed a deposit on about a year and a half ago. My spot also has the added benefit of being transferable, only the early spots have this feature. If you were to place a deposit directly with ICON today, you would get a non-transferable spot. As the delivery time gets closer, this spot will likely appreciate in value, so you could make a hefty profit selling the spot then.

Your bid is for securing my spot in the wait list, you will also have to reimburse me the $5,000 that I have deposited with ICON. So the total payment to me will be $5,000 plus the winning bid.
