Mid America Classic Mustang is offering this true 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale.

It has the 260 V8 engine and C4 automatic transmission.

This is a very good running Mustang Convertible and can be driven with confidence.

It is a true 64 1/2 model with a build date of April 23 1964 so it is a very early car. It has it's original 260 V8 engine that has it's engine assembly date of April 17th 1964 ( the first day Mustangs were actually sold to the public)

It has a tight front end and power steering that makes it very comfortable to drive.

It is beautifully detailed in the engine bay.

The original type black interior is in good condition , has new carpeting and seat belts , front and rear.

The new white convertible top was installed last month.

This car has a very good underbody and frame , including solid floors. Very hard to find a Mustang convertible this nice in the underbody at any price range.

The exterior body is solid appearing but has older body repair along the wheelwells and lower body panels. It has some bubbles starting to surface and the left wheelwell lip at the bottom of the rear has some deterioration . Still better than most in this price range.

The paint looks good but there are numerous chips from tight garage storage as the paint is 15 years old but aside from some flaws it still has a great look . It has paint flaws but this is a very attractive car and be driven with pride as it sits.

It is painted Poppy Red and has black interior.

Overall , this is a great driver and is not a show car, and it is priced very well and would make a presentable driver for years to come.

These early cars will be celebrated in April 2014 as the 50th anniversary of the 64 1/2  Mustang will be a big deal and maybe you should have this one in your garage , then you can be  part of the celebration.

These early iconic Mustangs will continue to appreciate , even in this economy.
