1998 Lincoln Town Car Limousine 6"

   This is a rare 6 Inch Stretch, Factory Black, Rust Free, and California Titled Factory Lincoln Town Car Limousine. Moreover, it is very rare to find one that has been used either commercially or privately owned with the interior in nice condition like this one, along with the combination of the above noted factory options. More recently/obviously it was repainted from Factory Black to yellow and set up for taxi use. The interior is a black or dark charcoal grey, otherwise this came as the coveted Black on Black color scheme. It has a functioning meter installed, and had various city permits and had an LAX ( Los Angeles International Airport ) Charter Permit and so on.

It is a Money Making Machine, I recently bought it and had several parties try to flag me down for a ride. If you used it for a taxi, you would be the King or Queen of Taxi service as it’s a superior make and model compared to most others, and it has Air Ride Suspension, Extra 6 Inches of room, and all its other luxury options. Also, or may choose to use it for Limousine, Executive Protection Service, or Just for Personal Use. As stated I recentyl bought it, the title is in hand; my intentions were to repaint it to its factory color of Black, install a bar with the extra space provided by the factory, and use it for Limo & Executive Protection Service, as well as personal use. However, I bought another one that I’m more interested in.

Registration is current but it sat for a while therefore It has a new battery, full tune up with Premium Accel Ignition Spark Plugs, Oil & Filter Change with Factory Motorcraft Synthetic Oil. In addition the motor was treated with engine flush, fuel system, the throttle body, fuel injectors, egr, and air filter were cleaned. In addition, it just had about $500 worth of parts and labor done to it including diagnostics, a new egr, new egr solenoid / evr regulator, and new coil.

It runs nice and smooth on both the Highway and Street. It has Factory Air Ride Suspension, Heated Mirrors, Limo Tint on the rear windows, the front-side windows have a lighter tint, and several other Luxury Options one might not expect in a vehicle even of this caliber. I don’t know its full history, but except for the tires I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. As pictured the full size spare is on the front passengers’ side, the factory wheel is in the trunk with the center cap, because that tire is bald. These are the known issues: it will need new tires, an alignment, heater core; air bag light comes on occasionally, overall its looks nice but as one can see in the pictures there are scratches on the paint here and there.

It has a powerful 4.6L V8 with factory dual exhaust option(for extra power), it’s the same family of motors used in the Mustangs. However, it gets great gas millage…after the service/parts listed above I was able to achieve an unbelievable 30+ MPG on Strictly the Highway (30-32mpg at 65mph and around 35mpg at 60mph) with the cruise control, and about 20 mpg street being light and steady on the pedal. You can read and reset the digital information center at any time to see your true mpg, as well as a wealth of other information. These engines are great: service them regularly and they seem to last forever.
