We are offering two (2) brand new rolls of 1/16" x 2" x 50ft of WHITE header wrap. This wrap is manufactured from high grade top quality 100% fiberglass to withstand continuous temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.

The uses for this wrap are virtually unlimited. It's most popular use is to insulate header pipes, intakes, and other engine components in auto racing. This wrap can reduce under hood temperatures 50%-70%. It will also protect other under hood components as well as the crew or mechanic who may have to work on a hot engine. This wrap is also used in karting to protect the driver's right arm from burns due to the header pipe.

This wrap is a 2" wide so you get more coverage with less footage as compared to narrower wraps.

Our wrap is tightly woven and very easy to install. When installing, generally 1/4" overlap is recommended. You will need stainless steel wire or zip ties to secure the wrap in place. This wrap does not have an adhesive backing. It can be wet or dry when wrapped.

Do not use this wrap if your engine leaks oil or other fluids. Do not use this as a heat trace insulator on leaky pipes. This 100% fiberglass wrap will not burn, trash that gets into the fibers can. Clean and degrease your pipes prior to installation and let dry completely. Buyer, user, and installer are responsible for keeping the wrap clean and free from debris. We are not held responsible for buyer,user, or installer negligence. Wrap should be secured in place with stainless wire, hose clamps, or ties.

Generally it takes 100ft at 2" width to wrap a set of V8 headers. A single 2" x 50ft roll can wrap most any small engine header such as karts, mini bikes, or some mini choppers and pocket bikes. However, you get TWO ROLLS of wrap when using the BUY IT NOW on this listing.

As with any fiberglass product, wear long pants, long sleeves, dust mask, close toes shoes, safety glasses and gloves when handling or installing.
