You are bidding in a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee four wheel drive v8. This truck has a lot of miles, but it runs great. Jeeps are well known for their well built engines and ability to take a beating. This Jeep starts right up and runs very smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, This Jeep could serve tons of purposes. If you are looking for a winter beater, then this is the perfect truck for you. If you want a truck to take off road through the woods, then you have to buy this one. If you want a great truck to go up and down the beach, look no further here it is. If you are looking for a cheap truck to get you from here to there, once again here it is. I will try to give you a quick run down of the good and bad about this truck. Lets start with the mechanical. As mentioned before the motor and transmission are both in great shape. The 4 wheel drive has been tested a couple of times and seems to work great The power door locks do not work, not sure why. Three of the power windows work great, the passenger rear window does not work. The cruise control, power steering, and power seats all work great. The AC seems to work, but it is tough to tell in this cold weather. The brakes seem like they are in good shape. The exhaust was replaced with a Borla exhaust. It sounds great, but I have no idea how long ago it was installed. At some point the previous owner upgraded the entire suspension and the truck appears to have a slight lift to it. The truck does "wander" and has quite a bit of play in the steering wheel. It probably needed a bushing kit to tighten the truck up. Now onto the body. The body of this truck is very solid for a truck with it's age and miles. There is some slight rust bubbling up on the passenger side rear quarter panel. There is a dent above the passenger rear tail light. The front bumper was taken of and never replaced. The rear bumper is missing some of the plastic inserts. The hood is misaligned as you can see in the pictures. The power antenna is broken off. The wheels were painted black at some point, and the tires were replaced with nice meaty over-sized tires. These tires look great and still have plenty of tread left on them. The bottom of the truck appears to be solid. There is some minor surface rust here and there, but nothing major. This Jeep has a decent interior for its age. The seats are in great shape with the exception of some minor staining. The carpet is also stained, some which will come out and some that won't. The gauges have a white aftermarket cover. This cover looks great during the day, but makes it really hard to read at night. This can be taken out, but I don't know how tough it is to remove. The radio and front speakers are completely missing.The dash and center console are in decent shape. There is a ABS light on. I do not know why, i would guess it needs an ABS Sensor. The info center also flashes constantly and I have no clue why. The message "Service Four Wheel Drive Switch" come on every once in a while, but it doesn't seem to affect the drive-ability at all. Feel free to ask any questions you might have, also feel free to ask for any pictures you would like to see. I would be happy to send you pictures of anything I might have missed or a close up of anything you might want to see better. I also advise that(if you are close enough) you come down and see this Jeep in person. Start it, drive it, and play with all of the options for your self. It can be seen Mon-Fri 9;30-5:00 and 9:30-2:00. If you want to see it at night please contact me, I will do my best to help you out. The $1500 "buy it now" is good until the end of the 4th day or until bidding surpasses $1200. In order for me to end the auction early for the "buy it now" i must have the $200 non refundable deposit in hand. This Jeep is being sold AS/IS , no exceptions. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will however help out with the details of shipping as much as I can. A temporary plate is available for a $20 fee. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. In order to issue a temporary plate you MUST insure the vehicle before you pick it up. You must have the insurance binder faxed to us at least one day before you pick the Jeep up, your insurance company will fax it for you. Thank you and Happy Bidding! EVEN THE $20 TEMPORARY PLATE FEE IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE CHARGED BY RI FOR THE PLATE. THE BEST PART IS THESE FEES ARE USUALLY HIDDEN IN SMALL PRINT SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE.
