This trailer was purchased new from the factory in the spring of 2006. My trailer is an older version of the Sweetwater Farms model # TA35WDLPCH that sells for $2,395.00 (fob Mount Croghan, SC.) It is a 7000# GVWR, 16’ trailer with a 2’ dovetail, treated wood floor and 2 ladder-type ramps that stow in pockets under the rear of the bed.
The distance between the fenders is 82" and the overall trailer is 103" wide. It is lower than most due to the tandem, 4” drop axels which provide better stability at interstate highway speeds.

The primary difference between my trailer and the latest model is that only the drivers side fender is removable on mine and my lights are not LEDs.
I have added a 18d x 13h x 32w lockable plastic box to the A frame. I built removable, treated wood, 4’ high, folding racks for the front and sides of the trailer back to the fenders which help when carrying furniture or appliances.
I have made a number of local hauls with this trailer. It has made one major trip when I pulled it behind a motor home from Louisville Kentucky to Orlando Florida and back hauling a Ford Taurus Wagon at speeds up to 80 mph. I also used it to haul a tractor back from the Nashville, TN area. When loaded properly it is extremely stable, tracks great and the electric brakes (vehicle controller required) work perfectly.
BTW this not only has electric braking on all 4 wheels but it also has an on-board battery that charges up when attached to the tow vehicle. This battery activates a “breakaway” feature that brakes the trailer in the event that it should separate from the tow vehicle.
I would estimate I have put less than 4000 miles on it. It has some rust on the safety chains, a broken running light lens, scratches in the paint and minor surface rust but it is close to new condition.
Trailer may be picked up here at my location. The coupler socket on the trailer is 2 5/16 inches so that size ball is required. Also, with the lowered axles, dovetail and pockets for the ramps this trailer does not have a lot of ground clearance in the rear. It is very important that it ride level so your tow hitch needs to be set up so the center of the ball is about 10 to 11 inches off the ground.
The brakes and lights require a 7 pin round connector though running unloaded the brakes are not necessary and your tow vehicle turn signal/brake lights should be visible. However, if you have any other type of plug for trailer lights or you will be towing it home at night I would advise an adapter.
We are located about 25 miles South East of downtown Louisville Kentucky in Southwestern Shelby County.
