Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. Vehicle Specifics for 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limted
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I have decided to sell my 200 Jeep Cherokee Limted. I have owned this Jeep for about 2 years now. As soon as I got it (which was in its VERY stock form) I tore it down and started to build it up for a full on Offroad Master as well as being able to daily it. AFTER bout 6 months of work and many dollars thrown at it, it was complete. It was everything and more I wanted it to be. I made sure I got the best parts for what I was looking to do with it, which was not hard core rock crawling, but a VERY capable offraoder that could see mud, trail, and rocks, as well as drive me to and from the trail rides. After about a year and only a few thousand miles put on the Jeep, well I decided to settle down and start a family. So that is where I am now. I have a new baby on the way due in just a couple months. And I have a Jeep that my Fiance can BARELY get in and out of because its too tall for her Asian height to crawl up into. So that brings me to the decision to sell it. I hate to, but my baby boy is more important at this moment. As this was just a second vehicle for me anyways. Just a toy per say. So here are the details: 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limted 4x4 4.0l Automatic, NP242 "Selec-Trac", full-time/part-time transfer case. Interior: Power windows, Power locks, keyless entry, aftermarket Sony head unit, New sony speakers, Leather seats, power driver seat, manual passenger seat, power heated mirrors, Tilt, cruise control, THIS THING IS LOADED. The ONLY issue on the interior is that the driver seat has the OH SO COMMON tear where you slide in and out. Other that that the interior of this Jeep is MINT. Exterior: The jeep has a pretty good exterior. The paint cleans up good and shines nice when washed and waxed. It does have a few dings here and there. Afterall it was built for offraod. It has one dent on the passenger front door, and 2 small dings on the passenger rear door, from a tree branch dinging it. The Hood was a dent up near the cowl from a tree branch also and the cowl plastic cover is cracked in one place. NONE of these issues affect anything on the vehicle. The Hood is weathered a little bit but no rust or anything. It has sat in florida sun so the paint has some waethering. BUT it is not in bad shape, just trying to be FULLY detailed. Bumpers: Both front and rear bumpers are aftermarket full steel offraod bumpers by C-Rock. The front bumper is a high clearance bumper and is set up for a winch and has ALL the extra bracing ordered for it. It has dual d-ring mounts. The stock fog light plugs are there and ready to hook up offraod light. I even have the stock foglight pigtails to make it an easy setup. You could literally lift the jeep off the ground as it ties all the way back into the unibody in about 10 places. I never put a winch on it so it does not come with a winch. But its all ready for it. The rear bumper is also a ultra high clearance bumper and also has a Class III hitch. The rear bumper as well has dual D-ring mounts. You could pull anything with this or pull yourself out of anything with this. Wheels & Tires: 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac on stock 16” alloy rims. I have 5 rims and tire sets so even the Spare matches. The tires only have 400 miles on them. So they are NEW. I got an alignment the first day it went on the road so they have always been to spec since day one after all the work done. Suspension: The suspension is the Rubicon Express RE6130 4.5” Super-Flex suspension lift. I have upgraded the shocks to the Bilstein 5100 Series. This thing rides and feels better than it did stock. Steering: The steering components were upgraded to the STRONGER WJ setup so there is NO issues with offroading it at all. The ENTIRES steering setup was new from knuckle to pitman arm. Front Axle: Stock Dana 30 High Pinion axle, FULLY rebuilt. Every bearing and seal replaced, NEW 4:10 gears. New Hub bearings, and brake components. Also the big kicker is it has an Eaton Electic Locker. The switch is mounted to the center console in front of the Transfer Case shift handle. So it can be locked for offroad and open for on road. Giving it the BEST overall performance. It also has a rock crawler ¼” steel diff cover from Iron Rock Offorad. Indestrucable. Synthetic Lube Rear Axle: Rear axle was upgraded with a Ford 8.8 Axle. Fully rebuilt with ALL new bearing and seals throughout. Brand New 4:10 gears along with a Detroit Tru-Trac Limited Slip Dif. Disc Brake axle. The Ebrake assembly is there but needs a simple $10 bracket to make it work. To adapt the Jeep cables to the Ford pull style ebrake. Axle also has a Rock Crawler ¼” steel dif cover from Iron Rock Offroad as well. All custom bracketry was fully welded in place to make it a stock boltup replacement axle. Synthetic Lube Drivetrain: Motor has 127,000 miles on it. But still runs GREAT. I installed a NEW radiator, Water Pump, Thermostat,Fan clutch,and new auxilliary electric fan, Belts, Hoses, Plugs, Wire Boots from coil pack, NEW valve cover gasket, and NEW rear main seal. This Jeep DOES NOT LEAK A DROP!!!!! The motor makes the notorious Jeep dieseling sound when cold and started up. But as soon as warm quiets down and runs GREAT. I have narrowed it down to either the typical jeep piston slap of cold aluminum pistons or to the lifters just tapping until warmed up and primed well. It has been this way for the whole time I have had it and its NEVER caused an issue. If you research you can see this is a VERY typical thing for jeeps. Transmission was flushed and filter and stuff changed. NO issues here at all Transfer case was flushed and cleaned and refilled. ALL FLUIDS ARE SYNTHETIC so they will last a LONG time. I installed a slip yoke eliminator so there is no driveline issues and this Jeep can flex like crazy! The only issues with the jeep is for some reason the Rear Wiper Doesn’t work. Just stopped one day and never cared much to fix it.l Also the windshield has a rock chip in it. But again affects nothing. The roof rack is a $1000 custom roof rack from Kevins Offorad. Has mounts for the spare tire (which I have not put on yet) and mounts for a shovel and for a high lift jack. Also I have a set of rear rocker panel armor for it. They are ¼” steel panels. I Have set the Reserve at a modest price since I have over 15k invested in this Jeep. The Kelly Blue Book on this vehicle in STOCK form is 6000 in good shape.
