1997 Range Rover HSE 4.6 Liter Mechanic Says great parts vehicle or if third member in rear end replaced good driver. 300 dollar part. This truck will drive locally within a few miles and or be considered operational for loading and unloading for shipping. This is an older Range Rover not in perfect condition but theengine runs well, transmission is smooth. Windshield is cracked. Tires need replaced. Good point is it has been converted to coil springs with an arnott coil spring kit. All the windows work and locks. No remote but key starts and operates vehicle as if the e\remote portion has been disarmed. I have another rover and decided not to continue on this truck. The paint is a 5 or 6 as the clear coat is coming off. It stops fine and the brakes work. It would make a great truck to drive daily if the 300 dollar part was installed. (Last i checked on ebaya rear end 3rd ;member was about that price. I am willing to meet with shipper and will take paypal as payment. Please ask any questions. The title is good and clear. Vehicle is being sold as-as condition with no warranty implied. It has been described as honestly as possible. New owner is responsible for pick and delivery charges. I will gladly work with shipper to meet on on pick up day or meet buyer. All payments must be done through paypal. It is all I use for my buyers protection as well as my own. On Jan-26-12 at 20:20:42 PST, seller added the following information: Update on repair needed to the vehicle: I disassembled the rear differential to determine the issue the truck has and the crown gear had a broken tooth. If a purchaser wishes to order a good third member differential for this 1997 HSE 4.6 Range Rover I will gladley install it instead of the damaged one I took apart as it will take the same amount of time to put it back together broken so it can be loaded on a truck. It will drive up on a transport either way at the end of the auction. COntact me if you are the winning bidder and we can locate the differential if that is the choice. Thanks for looking. Should be a good daily driver now that I determined this was the issue. On Jan-27-12 at 18:20:08 PST, seller added the following information: Update 2 on differential: I have decided to repair the axle at my cost.
