This stunning GT Mustang is equipped with a Cobra Jet 428ci V-8 and 4-speed manual transmission. It was originally an S-Code 390ci car. It was restored in 1998 and then some slight modifications were made in 2005 to improve performance and handling. Some of these improvements included traction bars, posi-traction 3.25 rear axle, Center Force clutch, Flowmaster exhaust system, larger capacity oil pan plus upgraded wheels and tires. The upgraded battery was almost $400. The VIN decodes as follows: 7=1967, F= Dearborn, Michiganassembly plant, 02= 2-Door fastback, S=390ci V-8 4-barrel GT, 115971=production number. The trim tag decodes as Body 63A= 2-Door Fastback bucket seats, Color Q=Medium Blue Metallic, Trim 2B= Blue Vinyl interior, Date 07L= November 7th Build Date, DSO 44= Twin Cities District, Axle 1= 3.00:1, Trans 5=4-speed manual transmission. Inspection under the hood as well as the drive assembly speaks to the immaculate condition of this very original rust free car. It has always been stored and covered in a climate controlled garage and has been driven less than 600 miles since it was restored 12 years ago.
