Up for auction is a truly awesome stick pin for a two day enduro / off-road event in Mseno u Melnika, Czechoslovakia, taking place from July 7th - 8th 1956. This is a large all metal pin, with the exception of the red points of the star. The top of the pin has an image of a motorcycle and rider. Below the rider in depressed letters, painted red, is MSENO u MELNIKA. The middle of the pin has a 5 pointed star, with each point being a red plastic type material. In the middle of the star is the Czechoslovakian coat of arms. On the left and right of the top point is, 7-8 VII 1956. At the bottom in depressed letters, painted red, is CESKOSLOVENSKO. 

 

The head of this pin is larger than any of the stick pins I have listed in the past. 

 

The pin head measures 1" (25mm) wide X 1 5/16" (33mm) tall.

 

This pin is in excellent condition.

 

This is period correct pin, not a reproduction.
