AND He Was Able To Adjust It To Swivel From The Driver To Passenger !!

This Install is a 2004 Ford Crown Vic Police Cruiser

The Quick Release Allows Him To Quickly Remove The Complete Stand,
It Also Allows The Entire Stand To Swivel So The Passenger Can Use It To !!

These are pictures of the laptop stand mounted in an unmarked police vehicle.
I added a quick release to the base which I bolted to the passenger seat bracket (no other screws or holes needed)
The quick release allows the computer to swivel to the passenger seat for operation by the passenger.
Not bad for $30, and $10 for a quick release and 10 minutes to install.

This stand is mounted in a unmarked 2004 Crown Vic police vehicle.

I mounted the base to the bolt on the passenger seat bracket.
I added a quick release to the base so I can quickly unhook the main part of the stand,
this also allows for the entire stand to swivel to the passenger for their use.

eMail From The Officer: I purchased a stand in May 2004 and put it into my police cruiser.
I made some changes so that the computer would not interfere with the airbag.
I just put a couple of other elbows so that the computer can be
moved to get to my radio and the passenger can use the computer.

The pictures that I am sending in are after my cruiser was involved in a traffic crash.
An SUV pulled out in front of my partner & I, no time to react, I struck the side of the SUV at 55 MPH.

The first thing going through my mind was my brand new personal Laptop.
As I looked into the cruiser the laptop was in perfect shape
(I'm using it right now) and the stand stood the crash.

Just wanted to write for all those police officers putting the
stand in their cruiser not to put them up too high so that the airbag hits them.
