This auction is for one set of 2  NEW   replacement  HEADLIGHT lenses  , new gaskets and  mounting clips, just like shown on the picture   for  Right  and Left HEAD LIGHT LAMP of Volvo 850 94-97  .This lenses are  for the DUAL BULB headlight with 2 separate bulbs for HI and LOW beam. These lenses would not fit 1993 models 850 with the single bulb system. To determine if these lenses will fit your Volvo 850 all you have to do at this point is to take a look how many bulbs there are inside of your Volvo's headlight.

Now , we can tell you all  about these lenses.These are INDESTRUCTIBLE, because they are   made of  Plastic.  All of the 2005 , 2006 ,2007,2008,2009 Volvo automobiles have P L A S T I C headlight lenses, THAT ARE MADE FROM THE SAME MATERIAL.  NO MORE GLASS.Thank you VOLVO for ending the  Broken Headlight Glass  nightmare

After replacing several busted  glass  headlight lenses on our company’s Volvo 850   fleet vehicles  while paying HIGH prices for the replacement  glass lenses we realized that something has to be done about it. So we did . We ordered to build  an  injection mold to make INDESTRUCTIBLE  headlight lenses , and here is the result

These lenses are made from PMMA material. Poly(methyl methacrylate), which lazy scientists call PMMA, is a clear or colored plastic, used as a shatterproof replacement for glass .The barrier at the ice rink which keeps hockey pucks from flying in the faces of fans is made of PMMA... if you want to know what it is...

We use Oroglas® V-825 T  PMMA material. We selected this material with the help of  our  colleagues  scientists from Italian  company  ATOFINA / ATOGLASS  . The new range of high-technology products developed by Atoglas provides an important partnership with the automotive industry. The various grades of Oroglas®  now  are used throughout the world in the manufacture of vehicle lights, direction indicators (trafficators) and dashboard instrument lenses. The impact grades of the Oroglas® range (4 to 10 times more resistant than standard types)

Italian  company  ATOFINA / ATOGLASS  is  an  EXPERT  in development of   impact resistant, UV resistant, high temperature resistant and specialty grades of plastics for automotive  applications. Here is the technical data of the material we used:
