THIS HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED AS A 1930 TRUCK, (AS SHOWN ON THE REGISTRATION) THE VIN NUMBER ON THE REGISTRATION IS INCORRECT AND WILL HAVE TO BE FIXED WHEN GETTING A NEW REGISTRATION---READS A2571958 AND SHOULD BE A2571598, SO YOU SEE THAT 2 NUMBERS HAVE BEEN SWITCHED. WITH A VIN NUMBER (A2571598, AS SHOWN WITH PENCIL TRACING OF THE MOTOR BLOCK), WHICH SHOWS THAT IT WAS BUILT IN NOVEMBER OF 1929. I GOT THIS TRUCK FROM MY DAD IN 1989, HE HAD BEEN THE SECOND OWNER SINCE BUYING IT IN THE MID 1960'S IN UPSTATE NY. THE LAST YEAR THAT I HAD IT INSPECTED AND ON THE ROAD WAS 1992 AND IT HAS BEEN STORED INSIDE SINCE THEN. BODY OVERALL FAIR TO GOOD, BEING IN SOLID CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW NICKS AND DINGS IN THE FENDERS. THE UNDER-CARRIAGE NEEDS CLEANING AND THE CAB INTERIOR NEEDS RESTORATION. ENGINE TURNS FREELY WHEN HAND CRANKED BUT IT DOES NEED A CRANKSHAFT PULLEY. THE BED OF THE BOX NEEDS WORK. INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION IS THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL, THE ORIGINAL HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHT, AS WE HAD TO CHANGE THEM FOR NYS INSPECTION WHEN I WAS DRIVING IT. ALSO HAS EXTRA NEW GASKET SET, EXTRA NEW BRAKE SHOES, BOX OF BULBS AND SOME SMALL ENGINE PARTS.
