This a very nice, hard-to-find 1971 Hardtop Camper located in Southern California. It looks sharp, drives smooth and strong, and stops on a dime. The camper was recently purchased from an older gentleman who owned it for 20 years and maintained the mechanics meticulously. It's ready to drive anywhere - mountains, desert, along the coast, etc. With a thorough interior cleaning and some basic TLC, this will be a fantastic bus for the new owner.
Repainted factory color
Strong 1600dp engine
Shifts smoothly
LT tires w/excellent tread (27 x 8.5 R14)
Original camper interior in good condition. No sink/fridge unit.
One key works for everything! (ignition, doors, slider, hatch, engine compartment)
The original Sapphire radio is mounted in the dash (not connected).
Cassette stereo mounted on driver seat pedestal (next to seatbelt latch)
In-dash VDO gauges
Very nice child cot – barely used (if ever)
Rear bug net – also in very good condition
Imperfections:
- The sliding door needs to be lifted slightly when closing. I have the replacement part to correct it (upper roller assembly).
- There is typical rust on the front driver and passenger floor panel (see photos), and battery tray.
NOTE: The camper is also for sale locally.

There is a small scratch with very slight/shallow indentation on the lower-front area of the slider door - see photo. As you can see from the other photos, it's not very noticeable unless you're staring at it up close. I also added a better photo of the dash area.
