This beautifully restored 1962 Ford Thunderbird belongs to a friend of mine who purchased the car several years ago. The previous owner professionally restored the car to it's current condition, and I have not seen another one as nice anywhere. He showed the car regularly and it has won many trophey's. The car was puchased new in Los Angeles, California and the production codes on the VIN Tag are as follows: 63A-M-50-23E-71-1-4. It is equiped with the Ford 390 engine and the 4 barrel carburetor. The transmission is the Cruise-O-Matic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, and the car is an excellent runner. The exterior color is Corinthian White with Silver Blue Vinyl interior. This Thunderbird also has the Slide-away Steering Column. The engine compartment looks like new as does the trunk with it's restored jack and beautiful trunk lining. The tires are the P205-75R 14 inch Dimention V, wide whitewall radials and are like new. The exterior paint, trim, chrome and interior are all exceptional. This is a beautiful Thunderbird and it would cost two to three times the reserve to restore one to this condition. This is a quickly appreciating collector car and you won't be dissapointed in this one. Available for your inspection prior to bidding.
