You are bidding on an excellent example of the E39 BMW 540. Strong ownership history, excellent maintenance, incredible performance thanks to a variety of Dinan goodies! Nicely equipped with the Dinan Stage2 (pretty much everything short of the supercharger). Incredible handling, great Dinan sound, and a nice little bump in horsepower! Great candidate for those of you looking at M5s, but prefer an automatic. Description as follows:

Mechanical: As mentioned earlier, strong V8 power, very well maintained, everything works as it should. BMW serviced within the last 30 days, including new performance brake pads. Also has a new set of OEM-style M Parallel wheels (18” staggered) wrapped in high performance summer tires (less than 500 miles on wheel/tire package). The Dinan package is described as follows:

“The Dinan S2 programs have been developed for the 5 Series driver that demands serious naturally aspirated engine performance and even more aggressive handling capabilities. The engine features the full compliment of Dinan intake and exhaust enhancements including the High Flow Air Mass Meter and Intake Manifold, bumping output to 321 horsepower @ 5700 rpm. The Stage 2 Suspension System (Koni) adds a 17mm adjustable rear and 27mm front Anti-roll bar to the performance springs and shocks for greater control over body roll and the ability to fine tune for a closer to neutral balance or personal driving style.

The Dinan S2-540 offers the performance enthusiast powerful acceleration, exceptional handling capabilities and the performance look and feel that enthusiasts have come to expect from a Dinan-tuned 5. “

Interior: Extremely nice black leather interior, regular leather treatments, none of the typical driver’s side bolster wear, matching black all-weather mats.

Exterior: Gorgeous black finish, no door dings, minimal stone chips. I would consider the exterior condition as WELL above average, and absolutely the nicest E39 that you’ll find. Also has nicely installed aftermarket tint, which really enhances the overall appearance, and adds a level of security and interior protection.
