About UsMaxSalvage is an internet based store that sells used and salvaged motorcycle parts. We have a vast selection and specialize in Harley Davidson, European Sport Bikes, and all Japanese modles. After items are listed, they are prepped and packaged for delivery and placed in storage at our warehouse; measurements are not available, and its the buyer's responsibility to verify with their local dealer if they are unsure if a particular part will fit their vehicle. Please note, we operate online only so please ask all questions through email.
PaymentPayment will be accepted by PayPal ONLY. Bidding on an item is a contract to purchase and payment must be received in full within one week of purchasing the item.
ShippingThe listed shipping price is a flat rate for the lower 48 states only. Shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii is double the listed price. International buyers must contact us BEFORE bidding for an international shipping quote. International buyers who do not contact us before will have their orders cancelled. I will NOT put a false value on the customs form so do not ask. The value on the form will be what it sold for at auction. Most international shipments incure tarriffs by the country to which an item is shipped. These fees are not applied by me & I have no control over them. It's up to the buyer to know their own countries tarriff codes/fees before buying. All Custom clearance, Duties and Taxes are the responsibility of the Sole buyer! Please note for engines: The stated shipping price is ONLY for business addresses located in the US WITH a forklift, this does NOT include (AK HI VI or PR). If you do not have access to a business address with a forklift there will be an ADITIONAL $80.00 fee for shipping to a residential address without a forklift, or the engine will be shipped to the closest FedEx Freight warehouse to your address, this is what the shipping company charges us for residential delivery because they have to send a special truck with a lift gate. Most of the time we can offer a discount on shipping, depending where you are located, contact us through eBay messages with your full address for a quote. Engines will ONLY be shipped to the address in your PayPal info, before paying for the item please make sure you have the right address in your info. If you do not have access to a forklift, there will be an additional $100 fee for delivery to your door OR you will need to pick up the engine at the shipping company’s warehouse. We apologize for this inconvenience but it is a fee that is assessed by the shipping company Items will be shipped within a week of receiving payment. Please note that our shipping costs do include a handling fee. Shipping orders are filled on Monday through Friday. If you are looking for expedited shipping, please do not bid on our items. We sell hundreds of items daily and cannot efficiently fill our orders when we must accommodate special delivery options. TermsThese parts are USED and are not IN perfect condition unless ortherwise stated. The majority of our parts are salvaged, meaning they came off of a crashed motorcycle; this is a reflection of our prices over new parts pricing. We do our best to accuratley describe each part and its damage but, PARTS ARE SOLD AS IS. There is no warranty on any of the parts listed in Maxsalvage store or auctions. We do not accept returns unless we have sent you a different item than the one in the listing. If you recieve the correct part, but are unsatisfied with the description provided, we WILL NOT accept a refund. We provide photos and accurate descriptions but the part most likely cam off a bike that was involved in an accident and will have some damage. The buyer will purchase the part at their discretion knowing the part came from a salvage bike.
