I AM LISTING THIS FOR A FRIEND, SO I WILL TRY AND ANSWER QUESTIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. UP FOR AUCTION WITH !!!! NO RESERVE !!!! BEING SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER IS A BEAUTIFUL 1990 FORD THUNDERBIRD SUPER COUPE. IT IS AN ANNIVERSARY EDITION (35TH I BELIEVE) IT HAS A 3.8L SUPERCHARGED 6 CYL ENGINE AND A SMOOTH SHIFTING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT ALSO HAS LEATHER INTERIOR, POWER MOONROOF, POWER SEATS, WITH ADJUSTABLE LUMBAR AND BOLSTERS, THE FACTORY BLACK WHEELS, WITH LIKE NEW ALL SEASON TIRES, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, CRUISE, TILT, AND MUCH MORE. THE ANTI LOCK BRAKE LIGHT IS ON UP ON THE DASH, BUT THERE ARE NO OTHER DUMMY LIGHTS. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE 1997, THAT WAS THE LAST TIME IT WAS DRIVEN ON THE ROAD, UNTIL TODAY WHEN IT CAME TO MY HOUSE, I WASHED IT, TOOK THE PICTURES, RAN IT UP AND DOWN THE STREET TO SEE HOW IT WENT, AND BOY DID IT GO GOOD. THERE WERE NO SHAKES OR SHIMMY'S (I ONLY GOT IT UP TO 35 IN MY RESIDENTIAL AREA, BUT I GOT THERE QUICK. THE TRANNY SHIFTED SMOOTHLY, AND THE FRONT END SEEMED TIGHT. THE BRAKES HAD NO PULSATION, AND IT STOPPED ON A DIME. WITH ONLY 61K MILES ON IT, SOMEONE COULD HAVE A NICE PIECE OF RECENT HISTORY. AS IS THE CASE WITH ALL CARS THAT HAVE BEEN STORED FOR A LONG TIME, IT HAS A FEW FLAWS. THE PAINT HAS SOME CROWS FEET HERE AND THERE, BUT THE BODY IS ROCK SOLID. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO JUMP IN THE CAR AND DRIVE IT TO FLORIDA. ALL THE FLUIDS LOOKED GOOD, AND AGAIN I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW WELL THE CAR DROVE. SO IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN INEXPENSIVE HOT ROD, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU, JUST GET IN AND DRIVE. I RAN A CARFAX ON IT AND IT CLAIMS TO HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE TITLE. SOMEONE MUST HAVE CLEANED THE TITLE BECAUSE MY FRIEND HAD NO IDEA THAT IT WAS EVER REBUILT UNTIL I JUST TOLD HIM. CARFAX ALSO SAYS THAT THERE WAS NEVER A TOTAL LOSS REPORTED ON THE CAR, ANT THERE WAS NO STRUCTURAL OR FRAME DAMAGE, SO MY GUESS IS THAT IT WAS A RECOVERED THEFT, IN THAT IT SHOWS NO SIGN OF BEING REBUILT, AND THE PAINT APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL. IT IS BEING SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY, VERMONT DOESN'T TITLE CARS OVER 15 YEARS OLD. IT IS SOLD AS IS / WHERE IS , NO SHIPPING, IF YOU'D LIKE TO ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORT THAT IS FINE, BUT ALL FUNDS MUST CLEAR PRIOR TO PICK UP.
