I am a used car dealer in South Alabama. I got this car a couple of years ago for me to keep. The car was very nice, but I had the car inspected at Leo`s Corvette shop in Pensacola, Fl. I told him to fix everthing it took to make it like new. He did that and I paid him $2700.00. (He did not fix the cruise control, but the parts are there. I just did not need a cruise on the car) I then put a $175 Ultama battery in the vette and a new set of white letter goodyear tires on it (approx $675). (I have reciepts for all of this). I think the odometer reads 80 someting thousand,but I can`t verifi that nor did I ask the guy who sold it to me, because I don`t think he new either. The car is 32 years old and I don`t want to mislead anyone. The car however looks like the miles are actually accurate and the origional motor and transmission were completely rebuilt when I got the car. The car runs and shifts like new. The only thing not origional is the carpet has been replaced, the power antenna is an aftermarket and the exaust is a very miled flow master system. (not loud at all, sounds great). I have put less than 700 miles on the car. It sits in my garage with a car cover on it. It has been repainted the origonal colors at some point in the past. It has red factory cloth interior.I would rate the car inside and out a 9 out of ten if not better. The red interior is factory and looks excellent with only minor wear. I ordered a build sheet from GM and can fax that to any one who is interested. The only reason I am selling the Vette is I am 6`2",240lbs, and just had hip replacement surgery. I can`t get in and out of it with out much pain. I have cranked the car a few times each month and drove it 15 to 20 miles at a time to keep it lubed and running as it should. The longest trip I ever made in it was to the vette shop in Pensacola and back (about 150 miles). The car drives like new no oil or transmission leaks. The car needs someone to drive it. While I will take cash, I am also interested in a trade new or classic. If it is a classic I would be keeping it and thus it would have to be much easier for me to get into and out of than a vette. The car is not perfect, but it is VERY nice!!!!!! The pics are not that good, but if you are interested send me your email and I will try to get someone who can work a digital camera better than me and send you some. I have much more invested in the car than I will ever get out of it, but I never planned on selling the car.
