The HDM Oil Tube Adapter mounts directly to the rear of the block. With this adapter is makes it much easier to connect your over flow vent tubing to the 5hp Briggs race motor. This adapter comes with the mounting tab, aluminum tube, barbed fitting and mounting screw. The kit is unique in that is uses a barbed fitting for the over flow hose connection. When mounting, insert the tube into the mounting tab. Then place the tube inside the rubber boot on the back of your engine. Line up the hole in the mounting tab with the existing hole in your engine block and secure with screw provided. Now insert barbed fitting into aluminum tube and crimp in place. Most racers find that a zip tie is not required after placing the overflow tube onto the barbed fitting. This kit is manufactured from aluminum and is anodized purple for added protection.
