1964 corvette hood from a white 64. Hood is in really nice shape. Upper corner edges are nice. Hood support bonds are all intact, no separation. No delamination anywhere on edges. If you are needing a good original hood for your 64, or spare parts bin, this is it. I contacted UPS about shipping, and they will box and ship as far as Miami or Los Angeles for $200. The closer you are to Milwaukee, the less for shipping. I've been into mid-years since 1976, and NCRS since 1984, and I would not have this hood if it wasn't in good condition. I'm getting close to retiring, and it is time to let go of some spare parts. UPS will build a custom shipping box 45"x53"x6" with all six inside surfaces covered in 1 1/2" styrofoam with the hood wrapped in shrinkwrap. The price for the box is $60, with shipping charges of $120 to New Jersey, Maryland, Dallas, and Denver, for a total of $180. I am adding nothing for my "handling", since the UPS Store is only 20 minutes from my house. I am also a frequent buyer, and I share the pain with overpriced "shipping and handling" charges. The $180 shipping also includes insurance up to $900 if anything bad happens. I've dealt with UPS over 30 years and never had a problem until this spring when my new date-coded Al Knoch soft top arrived looking like an olive on a toothpick. A 1/2 inch metal rod somehow stuck through the box and through the plastic window. Luckily, the insurance got me a new one. If anyone else has questions regarding shipping, call your local UPS store and tell them the box size, and total weight of 35 lbs., (29 for hood, 6 for box) and they will give you exact shipping costs.
