This is the nicest 600 SWB that has ever been offered in the USA.Totally restored un like <the others that are listed for "chump money" because they need work, as proper restoration is a very expensive deal >.... most times many issues are patched over to save $$ ". Never an issue with this baby she got the best in new replacements and the most talented technisions to work on her. This is a true investment quality 600,when things get better this will be a $250,000.++ SWB. I see that day coming very closer so if not sold soon I'm declaring that the price will be increased in the future offerings..... Offered is a complete mechanically refurbished and upgraded by Karl H. Middelhauve 1965 Mercedes-Benz Grand 600 SWB. Maintained by Ed Coker Mercedes-BMW, Tampa,Fl. In show condition. Her last showing was at "08 & '09 Amelia Island,Florida Concourse De'Elegance and 3-'09 Festivals of Speed Vinoy St. Petersburg Fl. where she won another first place award. Not including the purchase price more than $278,000.00 worth of mechanical restorations and upgrades by M-100 expert Karl H. Middelhauve in 2003, such as a complete engine rebuild with new pistons and bearings etc. the heads have been upgraded with hardened seats,valves and modern seals so as to burn real gasoline or unleaded ethanol blended fuels. The engine is polished with detailed suspension anodizing throughout this fine auto. . We have enjoyed 06700 miles of wonderful no problem proper breakin run time since rebuild of engine. OEM Mercedes parts. Also she has a new air bag suspension, and a complete new air conditioning system with the addition of dual cooling fans to keep the over sized 6.3 V/8 engine and A/C super cool in all tropical regions. The A/C is a freshly rebuilt upgraded system , electronic ignition and electronic fuel injection upgrades. A great touring automobile that is very dependable. A Grand 600 SWB for a lifetime of enjoyment.. The hydraulic windows all have new door switches, lines and pump. You must understand I do not ever go half way or compromise a restoration.
