Bartlett Recycling LLC is a family owned business located in sunny Florida.  We are a state licensed repair facility specializing in the salvaging, dismantling and recycling of BMWs and other European motor cars.  Brian Bartlett is an ASE certified master technician factory trained by Volvo, Mercedes, BMW and Volkswagen with 20 years of automotive experience mostly with European dealerships.  For local buyers, for an additional fee, installation is available on most parts sold.  We also can perform most general service and repair work on your vehicle.

Each vehicle we receive for recycling is thoroughly documented as to year, make, mileage, and type of damage.  Before being offered for sale, each part is cleaned, examined and tested for proper operation, fit and quality.  This allows our inventory tracking system to give you a full history of each part sold, including the mileage and condition of the vehicle.  We buy only southern cars, so you can be sure the parts we sell will not have been subject to rust and salt damage.

LIMITED WARRANTY

All Bartlett Recycling parts are covered by a limited warranty (“Warranty”).  Specifically, we guarantee that parts purchased from us will work as intended for six months from the purchase date, as shown by the invoice.  We will reimburse ground shipping costs for defective parts shipped before the expiration of the Warranty period. 

The Warranty will not cover the following:

1)               Faulty installation, including the failure by the purchaser to use new fluids, gaskets, seals and filters or to flush vessels (radiators, coolers, etc.) and lines with new fluids;

2)               Modifications;

3)               Failure to follow proper maintenance intervals and procedures;

4)               Fluid leaks;

5)               Driving under extreme conditions and other abuse;

6)               Faulty maintenance per standards set by the manufacturer;

7)               Consequential damage due to the failure of any part we sell.

All court proceedings arising from the Warranty or concerning parts sold by Bartlett Recycling must be brought within six months of the date that notice of the alleged defective condition was sent by email to bartlettrecycling@gmail.com.  All court proceedings brought against Bartlett Recycling LLC must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction for Pinellas County, Florida.  All court proceedings shall be governed by the law of the State of Florida.

RETURNS

Parts returned will be exchanged for a comparable part.  No cash refunds will be made for parts returned unless the part to be exchanged is unavailable.  Such a refund will be the limit of our liability.

Returned parts must be drained of all fluids and be accompanied by a copy of the invoice.
